WhiteLion ~ Part 3 (Final Preparations & Installation of Snow Leopard)

Ok... So you are almost ready to install Snow Leopard (Pre-Request to Lion)
but first we have to format the disk to Apples Liking and change some BIOS Settings

How do we do it?

1. When your computer restarts start bios (delete or f2 may work)
2. Go into Integrated Prepetuals and change Hard drive mode from IDE to ACPI (important for Mac to recognize the HardDrive)
3. change HPET mode to 64bit (Only if you are running 64 bit)
4. Go back to the main menu and save and quit the bios
Once your computer restarts make sure you are booting from cd (f12 on most computers)
You know once the iBoot logo appears
If it does appear follow these steps
1. Insert Mac OS X disk/HardDrive/Flashdrive
2. Restart computer
3. reboot until the HardDrive/Flashdrive Is visible
4. Select it and press enter
5. Continue threw the setup until you have to select a HardDrive
Note. THIS IS THE TIME TO QUIT (All data will be lost unless it is backed up)
6. Click Utilities and click disk Utillities
7. Select your main HardDrive
8. Click erase
9. Select a name for the hard drive
10. Click Erase
Note. There is no other way to do it
11. Wait until it is done then exit disk Utillities
